DigiCat is a program that will allow you to create and maintain catalogs of the files included in your recordable digital media. It will scan your drives looking for data DVDs and CDs (and other removable media), saving their content details into a database that can then be edited and saved, its records can be also printed, and represented in a graphical format.
DigiCat is even capable of listing and cataloging the content of any ZIP, RAR or CAB compressed file it may find in your digital discs. Once your digital objects are organized, this tool allows you to search into your catalogs using any keyword to quickly find any content you need to retrieve. As into the catalog you can include accurate information about the exact location where you have the physical disc stored, you can easily find the file you need without having to browse through your media collection.
The program can display a graphic chart representing the size of each file in the disk (with a maximum of 20 files per chart). You can save a catalog file for each drive read, which can also be printed as a report that displays all the information about the files contained on the disc.
